About the Role

The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty commercial truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial, and construction environments. Drivers must adhere to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate heavy‑duty commercial vehicle safely, following OSHA, DOT, and company standards; keep vehicle clean and safe. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and report any issues for corrective action. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, service calls, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings; collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, position containers properly, and submit tickets for excess yardage when needed. • Follow assigned routes, communicate customer requests, and complete all documentation at the end of the route.
