About the Role
The Commercial Sales Executive promotes and sells Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, acting as the brand steward and telling the Johnson Controls Security story to senior executives and customers. The role focuses on securing profitable sales, upgrades, and renewals while improving customer satisfaction and retention. Key duties include creating new market share by selling security products and services to new and existing commercial customers, identifying prospects with creative lead‑generating techniques, managing call plans and territory independently, and conducting post‑installation follow‑up to ensure commitments are met. The executive must maintain in‑depth product knowledge, process work orders, and complete all required paperwork according to standardized procedures. • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services within assigned territory • Act as brand steward, presenting the security story to senior executives • Secure new sales, upgrades, and renewals for commercial customers • Identify prospects using creative lead‑generating techniques and maintain relationships • Manage call plans, territory, and follow‑up strategies independently • Conduct post‑installation follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of all products and services through training and research • Process work orders and complete required paperwork per standardized procedures

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma (college degree preferred), excellent oral, written and presentation skills, and the ability to work a full‑time schedule with local travel.
