About the Role
As the Area Sales Manager you will drive growth of the Power & Pump division by strengthening relationships with existing customers and pursuing new business across multiple market verticals, aiming to increase sales, rentals and profitability. • Deliver and manage the territory sales plan. • Promote Carrier’s product range and identify strategic growth opportunities. • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain industry‑leading service standards. • Build and nurture value‑adding relationships with existing customers. • Prospect and secure new customers and opportunities within existing accounts. • Continuously develop product and application expertise. • Utilise CRM and other data systems for accurate reporting. • Provide regular reports on enquiries, hires and sales. • Support collection of payments for services rendered.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires proven outside sales experience with generators or power generation equipment, strong communication skills, self‑motivation and a valid UK driving licence. Additional experience with pumps, sustainable energy solutions or plant rental, together with solid MS Office proficiency, is advantageous. • Demonstrated outside sales experience with generators or power generation equipment. • Experience selling or specifying pumps and familiarity with sustainable energy or plant rental solutions. • Strong MS Office proficiency and effective stakeholder communication. • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
