About the Role

Parsons manages a Technical Services program that reviews third‑party architectural and engineering work, conducts studies, testing, and specialized engineering services, and provides planning, design reviews, commissioning, construction oversight, and IT support for worldwide delivery orders. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining new technical solutions, enhancing existing applications by integrating new technology components, and assisting the customer in understanding and evaluating emerging technologies to meet current and future needs. • Design, develop, and maintain new technical solutions for DoD customers. • Enhance existing applications by integrating emerging technology components. • Advise customers on evaluating and adopting new technologies aligned with their roadmap. • Utilize additional skills such as Java/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SharePoint, PowerShell, Power BI, Tableau, Docker, and Atlassian tools.

What You Bring

The role seeks experienced IT professionals to tackle defense and data challenges for a Department of Defense agency. Candidates will apply their IT expertise to high‑impact projects that support national defense, with opportunities for training, development, and advancement within a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a DBA/DBE in support of system engineering or software development, with proficiency in MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, AWS Aurora/RDS, and ArcGIS RESTful services. Additional expertise in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SharePoint, PowerShell, Power BI, Tableau, Docker, and Atlassian tools is considered a plus, along with the ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments. A Bachelor’s degree in a system‑engineering or related technical discipline and ten or more years of professional experience are required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens holding an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph. The position demands excellent multi‑tasking, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and effective written and verbal communication. Flexibility to operate in fluid environments and to lead IT projects and teams is essential. • Provide 5+ years of DBA/DBE experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, AWS Aurora/RDS, and ArcGIS REST services. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 10+ years of relevant experience, and be a US citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. • Demonstrate strong multitasking, organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication abilities in flexible environments.
