About the Role

The primary responsibility is to execute predetermined methods to package product at the press or store it as work in process. The role includes performing visual inspections to detect obvious defects and maintaining box counts to document production quantity. Major tasks involve packaging products at the press while minimizing errors, meeting production requirements, emptying catch totes into gaylords when needed, and performing basic visual inspections with defect reporting. Additional duties include packaging and labeling, keeping the production area clean, reading schedules and drawings to assure quality, reporting safety violations, participating in daily machine maintenance, and collecting data for production boards. • Package products at the press using predetermined methods to reduce errors. • Transfer catch‑tote contents into gaylords when press packaging is not specified. • Conduct basic visual inspections and report quality defects to supervisors. • Apply labels and ensure proper packaging. • Maintain a clean and safe production area. • Review production schedules, work orders, and component drawings to verify quality. • Report any safety violations promptly. • Perform daily operator maintenance, such as oiling machines. • Record production data for board updates.
