About the Role

You will move material within the distribution center and from the loading platform using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors, ensuring jobs are done right and efficiently. Duties include receiving and logging inventory, stocking items, reading work orders, filling invoices, inspecting items for damage, and tracking inventory in the system. You will also keep the warehouse organized, enforce safety procedures, coach teammates, and suggest process improvements. • Move material within the distribution center using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or conveyors. • Receive and log incoming inventory, then stock items in proper locations. • Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to process shipments. • Fill customer invoices, verify part numbers, and pack inventory items. • Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or damage and report issues. • Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on premises or operating equipment. • Track inventory accurately in the warehouse data system. • Organize and clean warehouse space and equipment as needed. • Report customer problems or concerns immediately. • Coach fellow associates on operational practices, equipment use, and safety procedures. • Enforce policies to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations. • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to management. • Contribute ideas to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity. • Deliver supplies and equipment promptly while complying with DOT and OSHA standards. • Maintain a clean driving record and be clearable for DOT certification. • Operate personal computers and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

What You Bring

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds). Forklift operation experience is preferred, and you must be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel. A clean driving record and eligibility for DOT certification are also required. • Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent. • Possess at least one year of warehouse experience. • Have forklift operating experience; certification is a plus. • Be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and hands‑on work skills.
