About the Role
In this role the engineer will work on a breadth of roadway transportation and transit projects, from condition assessment and design through construction-phase support. Responsibilities include close collaboration with clients to deliver innovative solutions and serving as a technical mentor to guide teammates through complex challenges. • Participate and coordinate on multi-disciplined project teams. • Manage projects and own technical design and report development. • Provide expert engineering input on design evaluation and technical deliverables. • Act as client liaison, attend progress meetings, and produce project reports. • Mentor team members on complex engineering challenges.

What You Bring
GFT is looking for an Electrical Engineer specializing in transportation facilities to join its Electrical Practice. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at offices across the Mid-Atlantic to Northeast region, including locations such as Valley Forge, PA, Philadelphia, PA, and others. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. • Possess 8+ years of progressive experience in engineering design, inspection, and construction support. • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus. • Willingness to travel to project sites as required. • Demonstrated transportation-engineering project portfolio; design-build experience preferred.
