Job Highlights
About the Role
You will be accountable for delivering system building services engineering—including mechanical, electrical, ventilation and specialist systems—while liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. The role also requires managing multiple sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers from a package system engineering perspective. • Deliver within the project team, collaborating and coordinating with colleagues. • Analyze, rectify and manage the completion of the MEP design using engineering acumen and business management processes. • Coordinate and liaise with project sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers. • Manage interfaces between packages. • Develop relationships with key project stakeholders such as the client, design and construction teams. • Identify risk and produce and implement mitigation plans. • Incorporate modern methods of construction, digital technologies and prefabrication. • Implement Mace’s standards and project strategies. • Work collaboratively towards net‑zero carbon transition and manage associated carbon emissions and reductions.

What You Bring
• Completed apprenticeship (trade/technical) or equivalent. • Relevant BTECH/HNC qualification. • Valid CSCS Card. • SMSTS health and safety training. • Proficient knowledge of an engineering specialism (e.g., mechanical), including installation techniques, best practice, engineering processes, prefabrication and single‑system commissioning. • Basic knowledge of digital engineering technologies or prefabrication (C2P).
