About the Role
• Perform maintenance testing on protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and related equipment. • Assist in construction, installation, and commissioning of power system components. • Participate in commissioning, repairs, and installation of distribution equipment to ensure reliable operation. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and installation activities. • Troubleshoot electrical equipment, analyze failures, and produce detailed reports. • Work with PLC, RTU, and HMI equipment during troubleshooting and repair tasks. • Conduct oil and gas filling of power transformers and high‑voltage equipment. • Provide technical support to various internal groups. • Develop and apply safety practices and comply with related regulations. • Attend safety meetings and mandatory training sessions. • Understand and follow applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Recent or upcoming graduates with an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma will work alongside seasoned professionals on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning in substations and isolated generation facilities. • Operate and become proficient with testing equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance. • Hold an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma. • Demonstrate solid knowledge of electrical theory. • Maintain a valid driver’s license. • Exhibit effective time‑management and communication skills for collaborative work. • Show strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities. • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
