About the Role

The role supports construction projects through on‑site engineering activities, including material testing and data analysis, while serving as the primary ECS representative at each job site. • Observe and document construction field activities. • Sample, test, and inspect soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel. • Perform calculations, data reduction, and draft test results. • Operate field screening equipment and record readings. • Read maps, follow directions, and interpret engineering and construction plans. • Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers. • Represent ECS as the sole on‑site representative. • Provide suitable transportation for job sites (mileage reimbursed).

What You Bring

Candidates must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, have an interest in building material utilization, be able to meet the physical demands of lifting and carrying, and provide suitable transportation for site access. • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline. • Capable of repeatedly carrying 40–70 lb and occasionally lifting 85 lb to waist height.
