About the Role
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, and grounds systems. • Lead and train a maintenance team, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure proper tool use. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for installations, repairs, and compliance with JLL safety procedures. • Respond to after‑hours calls and emergencies, and oversee critical asset repair plans. • Manage tenant and capital‑improvement construction projects from documentation to closeout.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires alignment with the General Manager’s strategic direction and readiness to support after‑hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays. The Facility Manager collaborates with tenants, contractors, and staff to maintain a safe and organized environment. A collaborative, growth‑focused culture underpins daily activities. Candidates should hold an associate’s degree or vocational training and possess knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. At least two years of relevant administrative or technical experience are required. Experience in shopping‑mall property management is considered a plus. • Move up to 49 lb, stand, and walk during shifts of up to 12 hours; availability on weekends and holidays may be required. • Hold an associate’s degree or equivalent vocational training and at least two years of administrative/technical experience. • Demonstrate knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and possess supervisory experience with three or more employees. • Work on‑site in Lynchburg, VA; no visa sponsorship provided; must be authorized to work in the United States.
