About the Role
Key responsibilities include identifying, qualifying and pursuing net‑new opportunities across hyperscaler, colocation, edge, enterprise and replacement cycles; acting as the primary point of contact for strategic and hyperscaler accounts and building strong, multi‑level relationships; developing new accounts by securing tenders, studying projects and crafting offers; negotiating and closing deals; maintaining an insight‑led pipeline and backlog aligned with a strategic account plan; conducting market research on industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies; representing Carrier at industry events, conferences and networking forums; and coordinating with internal engineering, operations and customer support teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Identify and qualify new data centre opportunities across hyperscaler, colocation, edge and enterprise segments. • Serve as primary contact for strategic and hyperscaler accounts, building multi‑level relationships. • Secure tenders, design proposals and negotiate contracts to win business. • Maintain an insight‑driven pipeline aligned with a strategic account plan. • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies. • Represent Carrier at conferences and networking events to generate pipeline. • Collaborate with engineering, operations and support teams to deliver projects. • Adopt a proactive hunter mentality with disciplined pipeline generation.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the data centre industry, strong sales acumen and exceptional account management skills. Experience in key account management, sales or business development within data centre infrastructure—particularly HVAC, chilled‑water and air‑side cooling—is highly valued. A proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving ambitious targets is required, along with technical knowledge of hydronic chilled‑water and air‑side cooling products, the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions, and strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. Excellent time management, organisational skills, willingness to travel, proficiency with MS Office and a proactive, hunter‑type mentality are also essential. • Demonstrate deep data centre industry knowledge and strong sales acumen. • Proven success managing large, complex accounts and meeting sales targets. • Technical understanding of hydronic chilled‑water and air‑side cooling solutions. • Exhibit excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Willingness to travel and utilise regional offices as required.
