About the Role

The Systems Manager, Google BigQuery Platform Engineering, Enterprise Data & Analytics, leads the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of Con Edison’s enterprise data platform on Google Cloud. This role provides end‑to‑end ownership of data ingestion, governance, and platform performance to ensure data is reliable, secure, and ready for analytics, regulatory reporting, and advanced AI/ML initiatives. The manager oversees engineering, architecture, and operations of BigQuery and associated data intake services, maintaining reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency throughout the data lifecycle. • Lead strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of Con Edison’s enterprise data platform on Google Cloud. • Own end‑to‑end data ingestion, governance, and platform performance for analytics, regulatory reporting, and AI/ML. • Oversee engineering, architecture, and operations of BigQuery and related data intake services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Manage the full data lifecycle—from intake and transformation to consumption—while enforcing data quality, security, and privacy controls. • Partner with Data Governance, Analytics, AI/ML, and Application teams to translate enterprise data strategy into production‑grade solutions. • Supervise internal staff and external vendors to drive continuous improvement and operational resilience.
