About the Role
The Foreman at Bergelectric Corp. oversees installations, ensuring work meets corporate standards and project specifications. They collaborate with the general contractor or customer to manage the project schedule, workforce, productivity, safety, quality, labor costs, and material procurement. This role is classified as safety‑sensitive. Key responsibilities include assigning tasks and maintaining accurate labor logs to achieve productivity targets, establishing and monitoring project goals, and handling purchase orders to ensure timely material receipt. The Foreman must enforce safety equipment availability, notify superintendents of crew changes, and proactively resolve potential issues. They also manage shift timing, conduct performance evaluations, maintain complete as‑built documentation, and communicate with owners, architects, contractors, and crew members while ensuring compliance with all codes and company policies. • Assign tasks and track labor to meet productivity goals. • Monitor project milestones and adjust schedules as needed. • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. • Enforce safety protocols and verify availability of PPE and tools. • Communicate crew changes to superintendents and coordinate adjustments. • Conduct performance evaluations and maintain crew morale. • Produce accurate as‑built documentation for each project. • Ensure compliance with NEC and all applicable codes. • Lead teamwork and foster a collaborative work environment. • Perform material ordering, cost estimation, and schedule forecasting. • Interpret electrical single‑line blueprints and install power systems. • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment and circuits. • Operate in diverse weather conditions and high‑noise settings.

What You Bring
Applicants need two to four years of field experience as a Journeyman Electrician and a current Journeyman Wireman license where required. They must demonstrate ability to order and track materials, perform cost projections, develop as‑builts, and possess strong knowledge of electrical codes, scheduling, and installation methods. Experience with power systems, control panels, blueprint reading, and fault diagnosis is essential. • Lift and pull up to 50 lb, work on ladders, and stand for extended periods.
