About the Role
Core responsibilities include safely navigating to project sites, driving long distances, working in inclement weather when needed, and caring for all assigned equipment. Crew chiefs must confirm job details before leaving the field, respect clients, uphold company values, and use Microsoft Office and Teams to store files and send email without needing a permanent office presence. • Safely drive to and navigate project sites, including long distances and inclement weather. • Manage and maintain all assigned surveying equipment. • Verify job completion details before leaving the field and uphold company values. • Utilize Microsoft Office and Teams for file storage and communication. • Operate TSC3 and TSC7 as Party/Crew Chief on construction layout tasks. • Perform building, parking, utilities staking, and boundary surveys. • Use Trimble R8/R10, level loops, and establish benchmarks. • Run OPUS solution calculations using Civil 3D.

What You Bring
Required experience includes prior roles as a Party or Crew Chief operating TSC3 and TSC7, and a background in construction layout such as building, parking, utilities staking, and boundary surveys. Proficiency with Trimble R8/R10 units, level loops, benchmark establishment, and running OPUS solution calculations in Civil 3D is essential.
