About the Role
The Machinist is responsible for machining operations related to the production of manufactured products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process. This role works closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and maintain safety standards. A typical day involves obtaining parts according to the bill of materials or drawings, assembling and fabricating orders using the correct tools and specifications, and setting up machines for various jobs. What You Bring
Candidates should have a technical college education or equivalent experience, with the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, use precision measuring instruments, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Basic arithmetic, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and at least three years of experience operating CNC vertical mills, press brakes, CNC lathes, waterjets, milling machines, and various saws are required. Physical demands include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted, with additional weight permissible when assisted. These requirements support the hands‑on nature of the machining environment. • Hold technical college education or equivalent experience. • Communicate effectively with all personnel levels. • Perform basic arithmetic and follow written/verbal instructions. • Possess 3+ years experience operating CNC vertical mill, press brake, CNC lathe, waterjet, milling machine, and various saws. • Meet physical requirements: sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
