About the Role

The Life Safety Systems Sales Executive, Electronic will represent Johnson Controls by promoting and selling fire safety systems within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, developing sales strategies, delivering presentations, preparing proposals, and achieving quota while maintaining existing accounts and reporting performance metrics. • Establish contact with prospects, qualify leads, and schedule sales calls using company marketing strategies. • Develop and execute a sales strategy, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate territory records. • Conduct seminars and product demonstrations to generate and qualify new leads. • Create financial justifications, prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and follow up to close sales. • Collaborate with district operations to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. • Achieve assigned sales quota while maintaining regular contact with existing accounts for follow‑on sales. • Report weekly and monthly sales metrics to operations and corporate teams. • Represent Johnson Controls at trade shows, product demos, and other industry events.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have at least five years of successful sales experience in the electronic or related industry, a strong ability to identify and close opportunities, and high self‑discipline. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering, experience with electrical contractors and reading blueprints, proficiency in Microsoft and Oracle, and the ability to obtain required licenses. • Minimum five years of successful sales experience in electronics or a related industry. • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, persuade, and close sales with high self‑discipline. • Experience with electrical contractors and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams (desired). • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle applications; strong oral and written communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred. • Must obtain all required licenses according to national, state, and local regulations.
