About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at The Parallel, a Cushman & Wakefield property, ensures resident satisfaction by delivering quality move-ins, timely service, and personal attention. The role supports residents’ daily needs and upholds the company’s commitment to superior customer service. Daily duties include preparing vacant units for occupancy, handling a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and general repairs, and maintaining common-area amenities like pools, hot tubs, and dog parks. Technicians must respond to resident requests promptly, report issues, and be available for after‑hour emergencies while following fair‑housing regulations and safety procedures. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping). • Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally. • Perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, and snow‑removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities in clean, safe condition. • Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hour emergency repairs. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training programs and adhere to uniform standards. • Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and document any tardiness.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related maintenance experience. Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA‑608 Type II certification, basic math and reporting skills, and the ability to read technical documents and follow safety protocols. The position operates in a professional office setting but requires regular travel between properties and exposure to varying weather conditions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and occasional stationary work at a desk. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA‑608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical training. • Have at least one year of related maintenance experience.

Benefits
