About the Role

In this role you will work closely with regional business leaders to build a safety‑focused culture, identify proactive trends, develop and implement health & safety policies and training for HVAC activities, conduct site audits, ensure legislative compliance, lead safety meetings, support wellness initiatives, and manage incident investigations and government liaison. • Provide tools, training, and development programs for the job. • Provide a comprehensive benefits plan for employees and families. • Create clear career advancement pathways within the company. • Maintain an inclusive, award‑winning corporate culture. • Partner with regional leaders to drive health & safety culture. • Identify proactive safety trends and implement improvement programs. • Develop and deliver safety policies, programs, and training for HVAC activities. • Conduct regular site visits and audits, creating action plans for identified gaps. • Ensure compliance with provincial health & safety legislation. • Lead team meetings and support Joint Health & Safety Committee sessions. • Support proactive workplace wellness initiatives. • Oversee thorough accident investigations and root‑cause analysis. • Liaise with government inspectors and act as primary contact for branch activities.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds post‑secondary OHS education, is pursuing or has a recognized designation such as CRSP, CRST or NCSO, and brings at least three years of health & safety experience across multiple provinces, including ISO 45001 exposure. Strong communication, relationship‑building, and multi‑tasking abilities, along with a valid driver’s license, reliable transport, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, are required. • Hold post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field. • Pursue or possess a recognized OHS designation (CRSP, CRST, NCSO). • Bring at least three years of health & safety experience with coaching success. • Experience supporting safety programs across multiple provinces. • Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018 occupational health & safety management systems. • Asset: experience with fleet, electrical, and working‑at‑heights safety programs. • Asset: experience managing safety in a mobile or field‑based workforce. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, including presentations and training. • Exhibit strong relationship‑building, influencing, and negotiation skills. • Maintain a valid driver’s license, clear abstract, and reliable transportation. • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Canada, occasional travel to the United States.
