About the Role

• Serve as Project Manager for ports and navigation projects, including dredging, beneficial use of dredged materials, feasibility studies, and coastal restoration. • Provide technical leadership from planning through construction on multidisciplinary projects. • Manage project scope, schedule, finance, and quality throughout delivery. • Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies, design calculations, plans, and specifications. • Coordinate with discipline leads, clients, consultants, and agencies for project implementation. • Propose solutions to new problems by modifying standard procedures or methods. • Identify opportunities and develop proposals and statements of qualifications. • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals. • Participate actively in ports and marine industry conferences and professional organizations. • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior staff.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate experience with conventional and advanced technologies and alternative delivery methods. • Hold a BA/BS in Coastal, Ocean, Naval Architecture, or Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience, and possess a Texas Professional Engineer license. • Prefer candidates with 12 years of relevant experience and an M.S. in Coastal or Ocean Engineering. • Experience with USACE districts (e.g., Galveston, Fort Worth, Mobile, New Orleans) and Texas/state projects is preferred. • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, a reputation as a high performer, and proven business development experience. • Demonstrate strong computer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD and/or GIS. • Ability to work independently and in team environments, with willingness to travel 1‑3 days occasionally.
