About the Role

Key duties include building test harnesses, performing board bring‑up, loading software images, configuring networks and peripheral devices, and executing automated tests while documenting results. The engineer also supports integration events, evaluates candidate technologies, and provides technical status updates through Jira, Confluence, and SAFe ceremonies. • Build and maintain test harnesses for SITL and HITL environments • Perform board bring‑up, load software images, and configure network settings and peripheral devices • Conduct SITL and HITL testing of government software integrated with GOTS and COTS hardware • Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scripts • Document test plans, procedures, execution steps, and results • Provide technical status updates via Jira and Confluence and participate in SAFe ceremonies • Use Git, GitLab, Nexus, and TestRail for version control, CI/CD, artifact, and test management • Operate bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and soldering tools • Debug using UART, JTAG, low‑level debugging, and network configuration tools • Travel up to 50% of the time to support integration events and demonstrations • Maintain an active U.S. government Top Secret SCI clearance

What You Bring

Applicants must have at least five years of lab integration and testing experience, proficiency with bench equipment, embedded hardware/software bring‑up, and programming skills in C/C++, Python, and Rust. A bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is required, with a Master’s preferred, and an active U.S. Top‑Secret SCI clearance is mandatory. Travel up to 50% of the time may be required to support extended events. • Program in C/C++, Python, and Rust for test automation and scripting • Prefer prior DoD or government program experience and familiarity with MOSA/open systems architectures • Experience with drone/UAS development and flight management software is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
