About the Role
The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, organizing, cleaning, and moving materials within the warehouse, rental yard, or worksites. This role maintains efficient yard operations and ensures safe handling of all materials. Key duties include reviewing work and shipping orders to locate and prepare products, loading and unloading items onto trucks, pallets, trays, and racks manually or with equipment, and attaching tags or labels to materials. The handler also stacks and assembles materials into bundles using banding, skids, and containers, cleans products and the yard area, and participates in routine inventory cycle counts. Additional responsibilities involve identifying, sorting, and organizing hardware and inventory, operating forklifts, cranes, and other machinery, and complying with all safety policies and company procedures. The position may also provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to junior personnel, though it does not include hiring or firing authority. • Load, unload, organize, and clean materials in warehouse, rental yard, or worksites. • Review work and shipping orders to locate and prepare products. • Attach tags or labels and mark packaging containers. • Stack and assemble materials using banding, skids, and containers. • Perform routine inventory cycle counts and sort hardware. • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other yard equipment safely. • Follow all safety policies and company procedures. • Provide guidance and training to junior personnel.

What You Bring
Technical certification or an associate degree may be required, and candidates generally have 5–7 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include at least one year in a rental, warehouse, or distribution setting, a current certified forklift license, and experience operating air, power, and hand tools. • Possess 5–7 years of related experience; preferably 1 year in rental or warehouse. • Hold a current certified forklift operator license. • Experience with air, power, and hand tools.
