About the Role
The role provides a broad scope of responsibilities, including accurate processing of financial data and purchasing requests, drafting financial documentation in line with Defence guidelines, and maintaining meticulous records to ensure compliance. This position requires a proactive approach to balancing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. • Process financial entries and purchasing requests accurately and promptly. • Draft financial documents following Defence guidelines. • Maintain records and ensure compliance with internal procedures. • Collaborate in a fast‑paced team to meet operational deadlines. • Contribute to critical Defence projects shaping Australia’s future.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates will have experience or transferable skills in financial data entry and document preparation, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication. You must be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and preferably possess knowledge of the ROMAN system or formal qualifications in Finance or Commerce. A current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance is mandatory, and compliance with ITAR requirements may also be required. • Adapt to shifting priorities while supporting procurement activities. • Demonstrated experience or transferable skills in financial data entry and document preparation. • Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. • Knowledge of the ROMAN system or formal Finance/Commerce qualifications (desired). • Hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance; ITAR compliance may be required.
