About the Role

Key duties involve maintaining facility infrastructure, conducting site inspections, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and managing planned maintenance activities. Engineers also document procedures, respond to incidents, handle work requests and circuit installations, and contribute to infrastructure and works projects that enhance site functionality. • Maintain facility infrastructure through diligent upkeep. • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor building and data‑centre alarms. • Execute hands‑on preventative maintenance on UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life‑safety systems. • Perform repairs and corrective maintenance on critical equipment to ensure uninterrupted service. • Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance activities to sustain reliability. • Maintain comprehensive site logs, MOPs, and scripts. • Assist senior staff in incident response and independently handle basic incidents. • Complete basic work requests and circuit installations efficiently. • Participate in infrastructure projects to improve facilities. • Execute works projects aimed at enhancing site functionality.

What You Bring

Personal attributes include self‑motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or within a team. • Hold an ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. • Possess experience in data‑centre or critical environment settings. • Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life‑safety systems; HV switching preferred. • Be self‑motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
