About the Role
The day‑to‑day responsibilities span project management, design, business development, and professional growth. You will lead transportation engineering projects, produce technical reports, manage contracts, and coordinate stakeholder consultations, while also preparing estimates, maintaining key client relationships, and identifying new opportunities. Continuous learning, mentorship of junior staff, and active participation in professional associations are also expected. • Manage transportation engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams. • Lead preparation of technical reports, studies, and environmental assessment documentation. • Develop contract drawings, specifications, tender quantities, and cost estimates. • Oversee stakeholder consultation programs and deliver municipal and agency presentations. • Communicate regularly with clients, control project budgets, and ensure successful delivery. • Prepare project estimates and proposals to support business development. • Maintain and grow the MTO client relationship. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with peers. • Contribute to the leadership of the Transportation Facilities Group. • Travel for project meetings and to other Dillon offices as required. • Mentor junior and intermediate staff through coaching, training, and technical direction. • Participate actively in professional associations and committees. • Offer employee share purchase plan, comprehensive health benefits, and retirement savings. • Provide student‑loan repayment matching, flexible/hybrid work hours, and wellness subsidies. • Supply Goodlife Fitness corporate membership and Employee & Family Assistance Program.
