About the Role

The Quality Inspector role is responsible for inspecting parts and detecting dimensional and visual abnormalities using industry standards while adhering to AS9100:16 principles. The position requires proficiency with both hand‑held and programmable measuring equipment, an understanding of tolerances, and the ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts. Effective communication and strict compliance with workshop safety rules are essential. • Inspect parts for dimensional and visual abnormalities using industry standards and AS9100:16 principles. • Use hand‑held measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, gage blocks, Trimos height gauges, etc.) to verify quality. • Operate programmable measuring equipment such as CMMs. • Select appropriate tolerance‑resolution gauges to obtain accurate measurements. • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, and inspection checklists. • Perform first‑piece inspections. • Retrieve prints, FCD forms, and complete inspection documentation. • Record labor on hour‑by‑hour sheets, KPI boards, or designated systems. • Follow all workshop safety rules and perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess 2–3 years of quality or inspection experience.
