What You Bring
The company is seeking a self‑motivated Civil/Highway Engineer for its New York, NY or Latham, NY offices. This role will contribute to a variety of projects, including bridges, tunnels, highways, aviation, freight rail, and mass transit. The position blends technical design expertise with hands‑on project execution in a fast‑growing environment. Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and possess at least four years of relevant experience, with a willingness to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within a year. Preference is given to those familiar with Civil3D or OpenRoads, NYSDOT projects, and comprehensive roadway design, including alignments, work‑zone traffic control, ADA compliance, sustainable practices, and grading/drainage. The role demands both independent design work and collaborative problem‑solving. Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization and relocation assistance are not available for this position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. • Hold a BA/BS degree with at least four years of related experience (or equivalent education and experience). • Obtain or possess Professional Engineer (PE) certification within one year of hire. • Preferred experience with Civil3D and/or OpenRoads software. • Preferred experience on NYSDOT or similar transportation projects. • Proficiency in roadway and street design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, work‑zone traffic control, ADA compliance, sustainable design, and grading/drainage.
