About the Role

The Porter works on‑site to handle all grounds‑keeping tasks under the supervision of the Community Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include trash removal, preparation for waste collection, mopping, and daily cleaning of assigned areas to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. • Complete daily groundskeeping checklists • Maintain exterior cleanliness and curb appeal • Keep landscaping in good repair between third‑party visits • Clean and sweep swimming pools as needed • Arrange property furniture according to direction • Ensure amenity areas remain clean and presentable throughout the day • Uphold product presentation to meet brand and company standards • Work full shift on‑site per schedule • Assist with move‑outs, turn‑overs, and move‑ins beyond regular hours • Lift and move objects up to 50 lb regularly, including bending and stooping

What You Bring

• Mop and vacuum daily in all required areas • Be available for evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) • Proficiency in basic computer tasks • At least one year of experience in maintenance or a skilled trade • Experience in student housing or multi‑family industry
