About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and process‑piping scopes for commercial construction. Working closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, the APM ensures on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

What You Bring

• 2+ years experience in mechanical or commercial construction (project coordination/engineer acceptable) • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and process‑piping systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project‑management tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, BIM 360 • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment • Knowledge of construction contracts, schedules, and basic cost control • Travel 80–100 % of the time • Experience on commercial projects like schools, hospitals, or data centers • Experience with Procore, Viewpoint, or similar project‑management software • Bilingual English/Spanish (plus) • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
