About the Role
The maintenance role requires a flexible schedule and uniform compliance while performing routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property, handling HVAC adjustments, repairing furnishings and equipment, managing inventory, and interacting courteously with guests. Additional duties include indoor pool upkeep, assisting other staff, and ensuring brand compliance and quality standards. Daily responsibilities for common guest areas involve clearing trash and waste containers, sweeping and cleaning sidewalks and stairs, removing debris from parking and landscaping areas, and vacuuming the pool to maintain a clean environment. • Wear provided maintenance uniform and nametag on property • Perform routine maintenance (painting, carpet/floor cleaning, etc.) • Adjust HVAC systems and repair/replace air conditioning units • Maintain equipment and supply inventory and coordinate orders with General Manager • Repair or replace room furniture, fixtures, and equipment (e.g., TVs, light fixtures) • Conduct regular preventative maintenance (PMs) • Greet and acknowledge guests in rooms and public areas • Announce presence and enter guest rooms per company standards • Respond promptly to guest repair requests • Maintain indoor pool • Assist colleagues with tasks such as delivering linen and supporting housekeeping • Report lost‑and‑found items according to procedures • Meet brand compliance and quality assurance standards • Clear trash and empty property containers daily, including dog waste • Sweep and clean sidewalks and stairs as needed • Remove debris from parking lot, landscaping, and dumpster area daily • Maintain high personal hygiene and professional appearance

What You Bring
Applicants should hold a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with at least one year of general repair experience, and possess basic skills in plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical work, and general repairs. Strong communication, organization, time‑management, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and frequent kneeling are essential. • High school diploma or equivalent • At least one year of general repair experience (preferred) • Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and general repairs • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities • Ability to walk, climb stairs ~50% of the time and perform frequent kneeling, reaching, crawling, twisting • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lb unassisted
