About the Role
The Warranty Support Specialist will direct all application and technical support calls and emails to the appropriate applications engineer or warranty service specialist. The role requires courteous, customer‑focused support for both customers and sales representatives. Key responsibilities include managing a high volume of incoming calls and emails, identifying customer needs, and providing accurate information using appropriate tools. The specialist handles complaints, offers solutions, follows up to ensure resolution, and works closely with other CSRs to maintain coverage during absences. Additional duties involve maintaining interaction records, processing accounts, following communication policies, receiving and tracking warranty parts orders, communicating shipping schedules, and providing backup support to the Customer Service Group and Sales Support Manager. • Direct incoming tech support calls and emails to appropriate engineers or warranty technicians. • Manage high volume of calls and emails, assess customer needs, and provide accurate information. • Handle complaints, offer solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution. • Maintain records of interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents. • Coordinate with other CSRs to ensure coverage during absences. • Receive, enter, and track warranty parts orders; communicate shipping schedules to customers. • Provide backup support to the Customer Service Group and Sales Support Manager as needed.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, capable of performing all essential and additional job functions, and able to meet the mental and physical demands of the position. They must pass a drug test and background check, and any education beyond the minimum is considered an advantage for career development. The role demands stamina for extensive walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stooping, as well as exceptional hand‑eye coordination, reading comprehension, and basic math skills. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, decision‑making, effective communication, interpersonal skills, accountability, and multitasking are essential. Required mental functions include thinking, reasoning, learning, problem solving, and attention. Physical requirements include standing for 95% of the time, lifting objects up to 50 lb, moving parts and tools, traversing the manufacturing facility, operating heavy equipment, performing repetitive motions, and working on ladders or in confined spaces. The work environment involves exposure to humidity, loud noises, dust, unpleasant odors, extreme temperatures, sheet metal, mechanical parts, and forklift traffic. • Meet minimum qualifications: 18+ years old, pass drug test and background check, able to perform essential functions. • Demonstrate strong organizational, decision‑making, and communication skills. • Ability to stand for most of the shift, lift up to 50 lb, and navigate a manufacturing environment safely.
