About the Role

What You Bring

BLUvera is seeking a passionate Safety Engineer I (or II) who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and professional. The role implements Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety program at project sites to ensure a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors. This position requires 100 % travel with rotations home every three weeks and does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and the company will not accept unsolicited agency communications. • Bachelor’s in Safety/Occupational Health or high school diploma with STS/CHST, OSHA 30‑hour and 5+ years construction experience • 3+ years managing safety programs at crew or project level • Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety‑related software • Strong communication, problem‑solving, leadership and public speaking skills • Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service focus • Valid driver’s license

Benefits

The position is available at both Level I and Level II, allowing candidates to apply based on experience and qualifications. Compensation is based on experience, location, and internal equity, with base pay ranging from $78,800‑$98,500 for Level I and $81,800‑$110,400 for Level II, plus higher ranges for certain office locations and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
