About the Role
The Plant Manager will lead manufacturing operations, emphasizing people leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Reporting through a team of managers, supervisors, and leads, the role ensures safe operations, high‑quality output, and on‑time delivery while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, inspires teams, and drives performance through Lean principles and strategic collaboration. Key responsibilities include championing safety and employee engagement, coaching and developing plant leadership, aligning cross‑functional goals with Sales, Finance, and sister plants, overseeing daily production to meet schedules and quality standards, and driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce costs and lead times. The manager will own the plant’s full P&L, evaluate capital and staffing decisions, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and standardize work processes across locations. • Champion safety, accountability, and employee engagement across the plant. • Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership and production teams through clear communication and performance feedback. • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and sister plants to align goals. • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations. • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, reduce costs, and shorten lead times. • Monitor plant KPIs and implement corrective actions for consistent performance. • Own full P&L responsibility and manage cost structure to support growth. • Evaluate capital investments and staffing decisions with sound financial judgment. • Ensure 100% compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures. • Standardize work processes across locations in partnership with sister plants. • Maintain functional knowledge of Quality Management Systems and supply chain operations.

What You Bring
Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field and have at least eight years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. They possess strong Lean and Six Sigma expertise, excellent communication and mentoring abilities, proven financial acumen with prior P&L ownership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A passion for employee engagement, hands‑on leadership, and a customer‑first mindset completes the profile. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. • Bring 8+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience. • Demonstrate expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. • Exhibit strong communication, mentoring, and team‑building skills. • Proven ability to lead through change and prioritize in a dynamic environment. • Financial acumen with prior P&L ownership. • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook with fast and accurate data entry. • Servant‑leader mindset: integrity, empathy, empowerment, problem‑solving, floor presence, and customer‑first attitude.
