About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee all civil and construction project requirements, from change orders and submittals to procurement, financial setup, updates, and scheduling, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably. The manager will monitor construction progress, control budgets, and prepare documentation such as status reports, punch lists, and billing. Key responsibilities include planning and staffing field positions, establishing project policies, maintaining client and vendor relationships, and directing on‑site superintendents to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The manager will also resolve design conflicts, submit field change requests, and ensure accurate as‑built drawings. Safety coordination and equipment maintenance planning are additional critical duties. • Manage civil and construction project requirements, including change orders, submittals, procurement, and financial tracking. • Coordinate field staffing and supervise on‑site superintendent to ensure schedule and budget adherence. • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate construction activities. • Oversee contract financials such as fee payments, equipment rentals, and expense management. • Interpret design drawings, resolve conflicts, and submit field change requests and as‑built documentation. • Prepare status reports, punch lists, material calculations, and monthly billings. • Schedule and maintain heavy equipment to minimize downtime and operating costs. • Lead safety compliance, including SDS, PPE, and health‑safety plan coordination. • Utilize Microsoft Office, construction estimating software, and scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera. • Apply civil engineering knowledge of mass grading, earthwork, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
