About the Role

The primary purpose of the position is to provide oversight of Constellation’s nuclear training program at the Clean Energy Center (CEC). The role plans, coordinates, and manages all nuclear training activities, including course development, simulator training, and supervision of the training personnel. The position is responsible for aligning training programs with accreditation requirements and the systematic approach to training, while supporting plant performance and corporate objectives. It also involves business planning, performance monitoring, and ensuring training requirements are met efficiently. • Oversee creation and rollout of nuclear training programs aligned with accreditation requirements. • Plan and execute business strategies for the training function, including performance monitoring systems. • Develop and maintain training materials, laboratories, and simulation facilities using the systematic approach to training. • Ensure all personnel training requirements are satisfied efficiently and effectively. • Mentor management staff to improve plant performance and provide supervisory guidance. • Conduct training programs that comply with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations. • Maintain simulator design fidelity with accurate station configuration. • Perform additional duties such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support as directed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science, meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards, and possess at least ten years of experience, including four years in a power‑plant environment, four years in nuclear power, and three years of supervisory or managerial experience. An active or inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or certification is required, along with the necessary medical and access clearances. Preferred qualifications include three or more years of supervisory experience overseeing nuclear training programs, completion of the INPO Nuclear Training Leadership Course, and experience on INPO accreditation or benchmarking teams. Demonstrated knowledge of the systematic approach to training and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams are also valued. • Preferred: 3+ years supervising nuclear training program implementation. • Preferred: Completion of INPO Nuclear Training Leadership Course. • Preferred: Experience on INPO accreditation, evaluation, or benchmarking teams. • Preferred: Strong knowledge of the systematic approach to training (SAT).
