About the Role

The Nurse Manager position is located in the Marshall Islands, where the incumbent will oversee nursing staff in hospital or clinical settings, coordinate patient care, and ensure clear communication among patients, families, and staff. The role includes scheduling, training, and collaborating with physicians to develop long‑term care plans, as well as conducting clinical reviews and risk assessments. • Provide nursing services to preserve employee and client health. • Plan and adjust work schedules and operations to meet mission objectives and care standards. • Ensure adequate nurse staffing, equipment, and compliance with safety and accreditation requirements. • Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and promote collaboration. • Collect and analyze data for reporting purposes. • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that enhance patient safety. • Educate staff on approved policies and enforce compliance. • Maintain compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and organizational regulations. • Implement systems to measure, assess, and improve nursing care quality. • Evaluate operations relative to patient flow, productivity, and treatment needs. • Create skill‑based staffing plans for each nurse. • Safeguard protected health information (HIPAA, PHI, PII) and ensure privacy compliance. • Respond to inquiries using established policies while maintaining confidentiality. • Maintain ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality of proprietary information. • Record and maintain patient information according to privacy protocols. • Protect patient privacy via infection control, consistent medication administration, and equipment maintenance. • Follow corporate safety policy, participate in safety meetings, and maintain a safe work area. • Be available for on‑call duties and respond promptly to emergencies. • Maintain an active, unrestricted nursing license with no pending adverse actions. • Maintain current clinical experience with a minimum of 6 of the last 12 months in direct patient care.

What You Bring

Work requires medical and dental fitness according to Acuity guidelines and involves prolonged periods of sitting and standing in an interior office environment, with required air travel to Kwajalein. The position may involve on‑call duties, emergency response, and adherence to corporate safety policies. • Utilize medical devices such as catheters and feeding tubes correctly. • Multitask across assignments with urgency and professionalism. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program. • Possess at least 5 years of nurse manager experience and 4 years recent RN experience. • Hold current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications. • Demonstrate strong multitasking, detail‑orientation, organization, and communication skills. • Proficient with MS Office and Acuity Medical Management Systems software. • Adapt to stressful, high‑pace environments and flexible shift changes. • Pass a favorable security background check, drug screen, and CNACI investigation. • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and passport with at least six months before expiration. • Be medically and dentally fit per Acuity Medical Readiness Guidelines and travel to Kwajalein as required.
