Perform survey layout duties, operate equipment, update documents, and assist the party chief.

About the Role
The Survey Technician contributes to construction projects by applying survey expertise and supporting field operations. • Read and interpret plans/blueprints. • Operate all survey equipment (GPS, total station, level, etc.). • Perform basic survey calculations to assist the Party Chief. • Keep construction documents up to date. • Maintain equipment in proper working order. • Stock the survey truck with necessary materials. • Conduct construction stakeout and manage stakeout data. • Update and modify Revit models. • Lift, push, pull, carry, or handle objects regularly. • Climb stairs, ladders, and use hands to grasp objects as needed. • Stand, walk, sit, or stand for short to full shift durations. • Use telephone, computer, email, or electronic devices to communicate with customers and vendors. • Perform safety‑sensitive tasks that could affect employee health and safety, such as operating vehicles, equipment, and handling hazardous materials.

What You Bring
• Communicate and interface effectively with others. • Possess NICET certification pursuit and at least 2 years of survey/layout experience. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toe shoes, hard hat, etc.). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently; stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally.
