About the Role

The Critical Facilities Data Center Engineer is responsible for delivering best‑practice systems and resolving problems across all data‑center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, and cooling equipment. In this role you will oversee the continuous operation of building systems, monitor performance, and ensure that critical facilities maintain 100% uptime. You will also manage incidents, coordinate with vendors, and follow emergency escalation procedures to protect vital data‑center functions. • Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems to ensure 100% uptime (fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, UPS, generators, etc.). • Record system readings, analyze performance, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions. • Manage work orders, CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer‑facing tickets. • Comply with hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal policies while keeping the workplace clean and safe. • Respond to emergencies and follow escalation procedures for critical incidents. • Ensure proper operation of backup power systems (UPS, ATS, STS, generators) and power distribution equipment.
