About the Role
The Product Designer – Plastics (Hybrid) will join the Product Design Engineering team to create and develop CAD concepts for North American and European projects. Responsibilities include using CATIA and UG/NX to produce 3‑D/2‑D models, leveraging predictive software for weight and cost optimisation, leading technical meetings, maintaining project databases, and driving innovation while ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance. What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Polymer Engineering and brings 3‑5 years of detailed mechanical design experience. Expertise in plastic injection‑molded part design, fastener development, and design for manufacturability and assembly is required, with familiarity of automotive design cycles considered a plus. Strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and a collaborative mindset are essential. • Hold a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Polymer Engineering. • Possess 3–5 years of detailed mechanical design experience, including plastic injection molding and fastener design. • Demonstrate expertise in design for manufacturability and assembly. • Familiarity with automotive design and development cycles is preferred.
