About the Role
The HVAC Service Technician provides maintenance, start‑up, and repair of specialized commercial HVAC systems, following company standards and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience. Tasks include reviewing work orders, interpreting schematics, using hand and power tools, and documenting service calls. • Perform maintenance, start‑up, and repair on specialized commercial HVAC systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to complete service tasks. • Review work orders, manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine required tools and parts. • Discuss assignments with customer representatives and inspect installation sites for compliance. • Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to identify malfunctions and replace defective components. • Interpret maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams to guide repairs. • Consult engineering personnel to resolve unusual system issues. • Document service calls, product performance, and improvement suggestions. • Travel up to 90 % of the time to customer locations. • Prioritize tasks, manage time, and multitask in fast‑paced environments. • Work in seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fume exposure.

What You Bring
Successful candidates need a high‑school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and experience with hand tools and troubleshooting. They must be able to travel up to 90 % of the time, hold a clean driver’s license, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lb, sit or stand for most of the shift, and work in environments with temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fumes. Employees must be able to meet essential mental functions such as decision‑making, problem‑solving, and effective multitasking. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record. • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms. • Use laptop PC and troubleshooting software for reporting and diagnostics. • Lift up to 50 lb and remain seated or standing for most of the workday.
