Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and conducting payment reminder and collection calls. • Independently manage multiple storage locations. • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies. • Perform daily unit inspections and maintain inventory availability. • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits. • Conduct payment reminder and collection calls. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb; walk outdoors up to 50 % of time, climb stairs, open large doors. • Clean interior areas and maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 pounds and to walk around facilities, spending up to 50 % of the time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Managers also perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal. Candidates should have experience in customer‑service‑focused sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or other service‑based companies. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for travel between work locations, with mileage reimbursement available. • Prior experience in customer‑service sales (retail, restaurant, fast‑food, etc.).
