About the Role
The Lead – Fabrication (Laser) – D‑Shift position requires completion of AAON’s Production Leader Program and responsibility for guiding a team of workers, assigning tasks, and providing mentorship to boost productivity and quality. This leader collaborates with management to meet production targets, allocates labor, equipment, and materials, and ensures strict adherence to safety and quality protocols while driving process improvements. Inventory management, reporting on performance metrics, and regular communication of production status to management are also key duties. The role is based in Redmond, OR. • Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program. • Lead a team of workers, assign tasks, and provide guidance. • Motivate and mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality. • Collaborate with management to ensure production targets are met. • Allocate resources—including labor, equipment, and materials—to support the production plan. • Monitor and enforce quality control processes to meet established standards. • Investigate and address production and quality issues as they arise. • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. • Conduct safety training and audits, offering recommendations for improvements. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and increased efficiency. • Implement changes and oversee process improvements to boost productivity. • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. • Coordinate with inventory control teams to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. • Generate regular performance reports covering productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics. • Provide regular updates to management on production status and challenges.
