About the Role

• Assist on feasibility studies and write procurement reports • Estimate and cost plan, producing and presenting final cost plans • Prepare Bills of Quantities in accordance with ARM • Tender and procure, managing the pre‑qualification stage • Handle post‑contract cost variances and change control, especially for PWCF1 contracts • Conduct cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate results • Produce monthly post‑contract cost reports and present them to the client • Negotiate and agree final accounts • Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages

What You Bring

Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Manager within our Real Estate team to work with a variety of Public Sector clients and across a number of projects in the Dublin area. We’re looking for individuals possessing a keen interest in this space with a good knowledge of construction, whether from a Main Contracting or consulting background; who possess an outgoing/collaborative approach, to help guide the contractor and client through the process on a number of iconic projects. A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle. Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) preferred. Degree or HNC level qualification. Experience with working on Public Works Contracts (PW-CF1 or PW-CF2) and delivery of services in accordance with CWMF Stage (i to v) preferred. Experience of delivering for Department of Education using the Design Team Procedures also preferred.
