About the Role

In this position you will act as a technical advisor to the U.S. Government, performing analysis on complex space systems and guiding acquisition and execution of next‑generation capabilities for the next 10‑20 years. You will work closely with senior government personnel, translating technical insights into actionable recommendations. Why join KBR? The collaborative environment fosters teamwork and intellectual stimulation, while your contributions directly shape the future of space defense and national security. • Conduct mission analysis assessments and studies for the Program Office • Coordinate architecture assessments, perform trades, and evaluate performance • Develop, test, and validate assessment methodologies and tools (e.g., STK, MATLAB) • Analyze space system performance metrics, timelines, and models • Identify and document issues affecting spacecraft and ground systems • Provide pre‑ and post‑algorithm implementation analysis and modeling • Support verification and validation of algorithms, including tuning and testing • Perform orbital analysis, threat assessments, and trade studies • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences • Interface with customers and system engineering groups to resolve complex challenges • Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports

What You Bring

• Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) • Required: 5+ years modeling and simulation experience with government satellite systems • Required: Insight into operations mission fundamentals and complex space system analysis • Required: Knowledge of satellite relevance to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions • Required: Ground site experience with flight operations and proficiency in MATLAB or Python • Desired: Master’s degree in an engineering discipline • Desired: 6+ years of relevant modeling and simulation experience
