About the Role

The Cleaner works under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor to perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services, adhering to the company's established standards, instructions, and procedures. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces, operating commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas, and spot‑cleaning or shampooing rugs as directed. The role also involves dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces, as well as periodic high‑dusting, cleaning interior windowsills, glass, doors, partitions, and specified windows, and washing or spot‑cleaning interior walls. Daily responsibilities include thorough bathroom cleaning and restocking of paper supplies, monitoring for issues such as clogged urinals or lights, collecting and disposing of building trash, replacing waste‑basket liners, and sweeping or shoveling snow from entrances and walkways; periodic tasks cover high‑dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors and interior surfaces using commercial buffers and shampoo machines • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures; perform periodic high‑dusting • Clean interior windowsills, glass, doors, partitions, and specified windows • Wash or spot‑clean interior walls as needed • Thoroughly clean and restock bathrooms, including wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, servicing dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, and scrubbing floors • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lights • Collect building trash, replace liners in waste baskets and containers, and place waste in approved collection areas • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways as directed • Perform periodic tasks like high‑dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing • Take direction, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate as part of a team • Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including a backpack‑style portable vacuum
