About the Role

You will oversee projects from proposal through delivery, controlling budgets, scopes, and schedules, while leading field investigations, data analysis, and report preparation. Conducting QA/QC reviews, ensuring safe work practices and proper PPE use, and handling monthly invoicing and collections are also part of the technical execution responsibilities. Maintaining and expanding relationships with current clients, supporting senior staff in marketing and business development, and preparing technical proposals, scopes, and budgets are key components of the role’s client‑relationship duties. As a mentor, you will supervise, train, and provide performance feedback to junior staff, guide daily project activities, and promote ECS standards, procedures, and a safety‑first culture across the team. • Manage building enclosure projects from proposal to delivery, controlling budgets, scope, and schedule. • Lead investigations, testing, assessments, commissioning, and design of repair solutions. • Conduct QA/QC reviews and enforce safety policies and PPE usage. • Prepare and process monthly invoices and support collections. • Maintain and grow client relationships; assist in marketing and business development. • Draft technical proposals, scopes, and budgets. • Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff; provide performance feedback. • Promote ECS standards, procedures, and a safety‑first culture.

As a Senior Associate, you bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and expertise both in the field and with clients. You lead by example through high‑quality assessments, studies, and reports, and have a passion for facilities‑related services such as specialized testing, building envelope consulting, forensic analysis, and repair design. Your work ethic drives your team to deliver top‑notch results while you keep an eye on the big picture and pursue career growth within the firm. Candidates should hold an accredited B.Arch, M.Arch, or a BS in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Science, or a related ABET‑accredited field, with at least six years of relevant experience. Professional licensure such as PE, RA, or certifications from IIBEC, RRC, RWC, etc., is preferred. The anticipated salary range for this position in Irvine is $125,000‑$150,000, adjusted for location and individual qualifications. • Required: accredited architecture or engineering degree, 6+ years experience, preferred licensure or certifications.
