About the Role

Oklahoma’s rapid population growth is driving some of the nation’s largest and most complex treatment projects, giving this position high career visibility. The manager will interface directly with division, treatment practice, and national technical leadership, and will also serve as a subject‑matter expert supporting projects and teams across the country. In this role, the manager will oversee analysis, design, construction administration, and the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for a variety of water/wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource‑recovery facilities. Success requires proven skill in managing complex, multi‑disciplinary plant projects, experience with $1M+ fee projects, and a blend of process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction contract expertise. The individual must work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Oversee analysis, design, construction administration, and technical reporting for water/wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery projects. • Manage complex, multi‑disciplinary treatment plant projects and teams, including $1M+ fee projects. • Apply expertise in water and wastewater process design, civil/structural/mechanical/electrical systems, process studies, and construction contract administration. • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an environmental focus, and a professional engineer (PE) license—or be able to obtain one within six months. Twelve or more years of water and wastewater treatment experience, strong written and verbal communication, and polished presentation and sales abilities are required. A master’s degree in environmental engineering is desirable, and the role supports work in Oklahoma, Kansas, or Arkansas. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Environmental emphasis); PE license (or obtain within 6 months); 12+ years of water/wastewater treatment experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and sales skills; work independently and collaboratively.
