About the Role

The operator will be accountable for the safe, compliant and reliable running of plant operations, performing inspections and maintaining both static and mobile equipment. Collaboration with on‑site colleagues and adherence to company policies will be essential to sustain smooth production. The role also includes supporting continuous improvement and reporting near‑misses and defects. • Perform SHE and quality inspections, completing checklists before, during and after operations and promptly reporting defects. • Operate, inspect and maintain static and mobile plant for load & haul, processing, and material handling. • Ensure safe, efficient operation of all plant equipment and maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site. • Follow all company policies, guidelines and compliance processes; submit near‑miss reports and manage visitor sign‑ins and contractor inductions. • Maintain accurate timekeeping, keep workstations clean and support continuous improvement of site performance.

What You Bring

Applicants should have a solid general education and an ability to apply health, safety and quarry regulations. An NVQ/QCF certification in static and mobile plant operations is required or the candidate must be willing to work towards this qualification. • Hold good general education with the ability to understand and apply health, safety and quarry regulations. • Possess or be willing to obtain NVQ/QCF certification in static and mobile plant operations. • Recognised Employer of Choice with accreditations: Armed Forces Covenant (Gold), Disability Confident, 5% Club (Platinum), Mates in Mind, Clear Assured, STEM Ambassador, MPQC Member.
