Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Lead ensures the quality, reliability, and scalability of control algorithms, SCADA integrations, and distributed systems. This role defines and executes test strategies, validates performance under normal and edge conditions, and collaborates with engineers to maintain safe, effective operation at scale.

What You Bring

• Hold a B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering or a related field. • 5+ years testing applications developed in Python and C/C++. • 5+ years implementing test automation with Python, modern frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. • 5+ years testing closed‑loop control algorithms. • Experience with power‑system market applications and industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet). • Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and version‑control platforms (GitHub/Bitbucket). • Ability to design and analyze system requirements independently and communicate effectively. • Preferred: testing COTS or open‑source software, knowledge of OT cybersecurity, high‑performance programming in MATLAB/Simulink, and SCADA system experience.
