About the Role

The Foreman at Bergelectric Corp. oversees installations, ensuring work aligns with company standards and project specifications. The role involves collaborating with general contractors or customers to manage the project schedule, workforce, productivity, safety, quality control, labor costs, and material procurement. It is a safety‑sensitive position that requires effective coordination of all activities impacting successful project completion. • Manage crew tasks and maintain an accurate labor tracking log. • Set project goals and monitor ongoing progress. • Process purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of materials. • Apply contract document changes and notice‑to‑proceed policies. • Utilize prefabrication facilities and company installation methods. • Provide required safety equipment, materials and tools on site. • Notify Superintendent(s) of crew changes with sufficient notice. • Enforce shift start/end times and meal/break compliance per handbook and labor laws. • Conduct performance evaluations for crew members. • Maintain complete and accurate “as‑built” documentation. • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, contractors, management and crew. • Ensure work complies with NEC, federal, state, local codes and contract documents. • Follow all company, state and federal safety policies and procedures. • Lead teamwork, monitor crew morale and foster a positive work environment.

What You Bring

• Anticipate and proactively resolve potential issues. • 2–4 years field experience as a Journeyman Electrician. • Current Journeyman Wireman license where required. • Ability to order, track materials, project costs and produce “as‑built” drawings. • Strong knowledge of scheduling, material lead times and installation durations. • Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods. • Experience installing power systems such as lighting, fire protection, security and data networks. • Knowledge of control panel build, installation and maintenance. • Proficiency with Electrical Single Line blueprints. • Experience verifying compliance and functionality of installations. • Skilled in identifying and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.

Benefits
